ALBASIN ALSO ACCUSED OF ROBBERY AGAINST A BARANGAY CHAIRMAN

Myles Albasin who was arrested for her alleged involvement in the arm movement was also accused of robbery against Brgy Panciao Chairman, Hon Mario Gonzales last February 16, 2018 at Brgy hall, Brgy Panciao, Manjuyod, Negros Oriental.

Residents in Panciao was reportedly alarmed to the incident of robbery by armed group claiming to be members of Communist NPA Terrorist.

It was reported that during the session of Brgy council of Panciao, armed individuals immediately interrupted the meeting and threatened the Chairman of the Brgy. They forced Gonzales from his house and ransacked the victim’s property and seized his shotgun and .357 cal pistol.

Before leaving the place, the armed group threatened the chairman to leave his residence within 24 hours. They also threatened other two individuals namely Andoy Balderas (chief tanod) and Anoy Catubig (former CAFGU) to also leave their residence.

Last March 3, 2018, members of 62IB troopers arrested Albasin and 5 in Mabinay, Negros Oriental.

Advertisement Brigadier General Eliezer Losañes, commander of 303rd Brigade said that Albasin was involve in the robbery against Brgy chairman of Panciao, Manjuyod last February 16, 2018.

The basis of this claim were the documents recovered in the encounter site where Albasin has kept the record of the said incident.

“We thoroughly inspected the recovered documents and it confirms that Myles Albasin was with the group who initiated the robbery” he added.

Losañes encourages Mario Gonzales of Brgy Panciao to file appropriate charges to the perpetrators to claim justice against him and his constituents.

Albasin has yet to respond to this new accusation charged against her.
