Japan Supports President Rodrigo Duterte For Improving Philippine Economy

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expresed his commitment to support President Rodrigo Duterte in response for the rehabilitation to the Philippines. According to the report, the assistance pledge will be $9 billion after Christmas this year.

In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said, “the President and the Filipinos thanked Japan for reconstructing Marawi and rebuilding the affected people during the Marawi siege.”

In one of the statements of the president, he calle Japan as a true friend who did not leave Philippnes behind despite the presence of Maute terrorists in the area. 

Not only China who is helping Philippines right now, but Japan as well. Duterte gained the respect of many leaders around the world because of his war on drugs and his statement that opposed missile exercise tests in North Korea.
