Wala daw guts si Gordon: Trillanes to lead probe on Paolo Duterte’s allegedly smuggling connections

Senator Antonio Trillanes is taking the initiative after Senator Dick Gordon declared he has no plans to probe reports that Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte was involved in smuggling.

“Kung wala kang panahon diyan eh ako tututukan ko yan. Kung wala ako ma-po produce na ebidensiya eh di ako din ang mapapahiya, di ba? Trillanes explained.

“Depende kung may dibdib yung chairman, eh, talagang ipupursige niya, di ba? eh kasi it boils down to the presiding officer,” Trillanes said.

“Nagyon kung hindi sila kumportable eh di mag-re request ako na mag create tayo ng subcommittee at para tutukan ko yan,” Trillanes added.

According to Trillanes he already proposed to Senate President Koko Pimentel to create a subcommittee under the Blue Ribbon to conduct the probe.

“Marami tayong pwedeng ipatawag diyan. Kaso nga, di natin hawak ang sitwasyon.” he said.
