DAMAY LAHAT! DU30 Gov’t, Sinipa Lahat ng Eazy First Taxis Palabas ng NAIA dahil sa Overcharging!

Ginawan agad ng aksyon ng Duterte Administration ang pang-aabuso ng isa sa mga drivers ng Eazy First Taxis sa turistang galing Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Ipinag-utos ni Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Ed Monreal na pagbawalan sa NAIA ang lahat ng taxi units ng nasabing kumpanya, matapos kumalat ang video ng pangingikil ng isa sa mga driver nito sa food blogger na si Mikey Chen.

Advertisement Iginiit ni Monreal na bawal ang price fixing sa mga taxi at metro lang ang puwedeng gamitin ng mga ito sa paliparan.

“MIAA does not authorize fixing of rates, charging special fare or any other form of ‘tariff,” sabi ni Monreal.

Sumuko naman sa otoridad ang driver na nangikil sa food blogger. Ayon sa ulat ng PNA, inisyuhan na ito ng violation ticket para sa contracting, illegal use of matrix, at overcharging. Kinumpiska na rin ang lisensiya ng driver at kakasuhan din ito.
