Namatay si Dr. Kendrick Gotoc matapos umanong maturuan ng Dengvaxia. Ayon sa ulat ng GMA – Balitang Amianan, nakumpleto daw ni Gotoc ang 3 shots ng Dengvaxia. Si Dr. Gotoc ay medical worker sa Rural Health Unit sa lungsod ng Quezon. Hindi daw agad sinabi ng doktor sa kanyang mga kamag-anak na nakapag-paturok siya ng nasabing bakuna. 

Ang masaklap pa, ayon sa mga kapamilya ng doktor, ni-require daw ng Department of Health (DOH) si Gotoc na magpaturo ng Dengvaxia.

“Napansin ko sa kanya, sa katawan niya, may puti-puti na, atsaka may pantal-pantal na parang kagat ng langgam, saka payat na payat siya,” sabi ng ina ni Kendrick.
