Watch Trending Video: Sen. Manny Pacquiao Becomes A Referee Between Zubiri Versus Trillanes Fight

Senate in the Philippines almost became a boxing arena Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV had a heated argument with each other and nearly traded blows at the session hall.

After Zubiri questioned a committee chaired by Trillanes for the Jack Lam bribery scandal, Trillanes alleged Zubiri to win 2007 senatorial race because of cheating.

Zubiri was heartbroken about Trillanes allegation that he cheated in the 2007 elections. He confronted Trillanes and the two almost had a boxing competition until Senate President Pimentel called for a suspension of the session.

Good thing, Senator Manny Pacquiao and other members of the Senate had stopped the possible traded punches between Senator Zubiri and Senator Antonio Trillanes.

In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said “I think Senator Trillanes is almost fighting everyone in the senate. He disrespected Senator Alan Peter Cayetano by turning off the microphone and said something that might hurt the senator, and now he is accusing Senator Zubiri for cheating the 2007 senatorial race. What the heck?!!!”

Trillanes is a known critic of Duterte administration. He accused President Duterte of having multi-million pesos account at the BPI bank but the truth came out that Duterte had no such large amounts of money after the manager of the bank verified Trillanes’ allegation.
