Sa Wakas! Duterte Government at DPWH Pormal ng inanunsyo ang pagbubukas ng Laguna Lake Expressway sa Publiko
March 12, 2018, The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced that the newly made six-kilometer Laguna Lake Expressway from ML Quezon Avenue to Napindan Bridge in Taguig City, south of Metro Manila is now open to public.
And according to the report of PTV news, once that the expressway is fully operational the estimated travel time will be lessened to half an hour from Bicutan to the municipality of Tatay in Rizal province.
And the good news is that the DPWH added 1.5 kilometers to the highway that starts at the Hagonoy flood gate to ML Quezon Avenue.
The opening was led by DPWH Secretary Mark Villar.
“You can see that ‘Build Build Build’ is all systems go; tuloy na tuloy na po ang project. Makikita niyo na po ang dulo ng Bicutan to Taytay ay 30 minutes. This is expected to be finished by the middle of this year.” He added.
And the best part, the expressway is the first highway in Metro Manila that have bike lanes.
Meanwhile, the DPWH has promised to finish the augmentation of the road from the urban areas of Parañaque and Muntinlupa up to Los Baños in Laguna territory within the term of President Rodrigo Duterte.
