President Duterte pledges to hunt down the Oligarchs, wether campaign contributors or not

In an interview with PTV-4, President Rodrigo Duterte pledged to hunt down the oligarchs, it doesn’t matter if they are campaign contributor or not, who are criticising him for persecuting the people with their inability to follow the laws or avoid taxes or mishandle lease contracts in view of fears under his supervision.
The President said that nobody thought he would pull the biggest upset in the the country’s presidential elections that’s why he believes that he doesn’t owe them any debt of gratitude.
“Even my friends na ‘yung nagbigay maski konti, anuhin ko talaga. Kung talagang totoo kita, huwag mo akong sirain. Magbayad ka para walang masabi ang tao,” said Duterte.

“Sauce for the gander, sauce for the goose ‘yan. Kung ano — kung ano ‘yung pinagawa ko kay Juan, gagawain talaga ni Pedro ‘yan. Ganun ‘yan,” Duterte added.

Duterte responded to a question asked if his friends from business would feel bad if he hunt them down.

Duterte: “Ba’t, may tinanggap ba ako… Anong kabayaran ng utang na loob? You know, I never — I never… Hindi ko tinanggap ‘yung pera ninyo.”

“Sabi ko nung na-elect ako, bantay kayo kasi wala akong utang na loob sa inyo. Alam mo bakit? Wala man ang naniwala na manalo ako. So hindi nila ako binibigyan. ‘Yung nagtaas ‘yung rating ko last week before the election, nagdatingan ang pera,” Duterte added.

President Dutere said in the same interview with PTV-4, he warned by his advisers not to mess with bilyonaryo Lucio Tan because the oligarch could decide to bankroll the opposition groups plotting to oust him from Malacanang.

“Itong si Lucio Tan, hindi siya nagbabayad. Matagal na ‘yan. Panahon pa ni — I think about four presidents away. Hindi siya nagbabayad ng — pag-landing mo pati pag-take off mo, may bayad ‘yan eh. Almost six billion,” said Duterte.

“Walang mag… sabi nila, kasi magbigay daw ng pera sa kalaban para i-destabilize ka. Sabi ko, ‘Mabuti. Sige, mag-destabilize kayo. Pag nag-tilt itong bayan, ang abutin niyo sa akin, revolutionary government’. Only good for five years, hanggang… Wala nang iba,” he added.

“Kubrahin mo. We have to recover the money. Magbayad kayo. Sa panahon ko, walang exemption, lalo na ‘yung mga elite. Huwag kayong ma-ano na kilala ,” said Duterte who previously revealed that he turned down a campaign contribution from Tan.

“Hindi ako nagyayabang — that was the reason ayaw ko tanggapin ang pera ninyo during the campaign. Kasi sinabi ko, ‘Hindi, wala naman ako siguradong manalo. Pero ‘pag ako ang manalo, yayariin ko kayong lahat’,” said Duterte.
