Duterte Gov’t, binuksan na ang 26 Million Dialysis Center sa GenSan

Sa wakas nitong Martes lang, binuksan na sa General Santos City ang P26 million dialysis center.

Naantala man ang pagbubukas nito, ang Dr. Jorge P. Royeca Hospital ay mapapakinabangan na ng mga Pilipinong magpapada-dialysis ng mura kumpara sa mga mamahaling dialysis center.

Inaprubahan ito ng Department of Health (DOH) upang makapag-operate bilang Renal Care and Treatment Unit.

Advertisement Ang hospital ay tinagurian ring pinaka moderno at kompleto sa pasilidad ang dialysis center sa Mindanao.

Saad ni Assistant city administrator at chief hospital administrator Glenville Gonzales, “The inspection team did not find any flaw on the center’s systems and equipment, and declared that it has passed the operational standards.”

Mayroon umanong 13 machines para sa Sustained Low Efficiency Dialysis or SLED renal replacement therapy.

Ang 11 units ay para sa mga outpatients, 1 para sa  infectious types of kidney disease at ang 1 reserba umano para sa emergency cases.

Ang mga doktor at nurses doon ay pawang propesyonal at sinanay na may kaalaman kung paano alagaan ang pasyente at gamitin ang mga makina pang dialysis.

Pinag-utos rin umani ni Mayor Ronnel Rivera na gawing prayoridad ang mga pasyenteng mahihirap o sa mga walanang kakayahang finansyal.

Bukod pa rito, maliban sa mga supplies, ang mga indigent patients ay magkakaroon ng hindi bababa na 90 free dialysis treatments kada taon.

“Overall, the charges for services offered here are significantly lower compared to those of private facilities,” saad ni Gonzales.
