HINIKAYAT ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga Pilipino na pagtibaying muli ang relasyon sa Panginoon at tulungan ang mga naaapi.

Sa kanyang Holy Week message, sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte na ito ang panahon upang muling palakasin ang pananampalataya sa Diyos, maging sa pagpapabuti ng relasyon sa kapwa tao.

“As we put our hands together in prayer, may we use this as an opportune time to rekindle our religious fervor and cherish our time-honored traditions as pious people,”  ani Duterte.

“Let us take a moment to pause in the spirit of contemplation and work and unite as one people to build a truly equitable and inclusive nation where everyone can enjoy a decent and comfortable life,” ayon pa sa mensahe ng pangulo.

“I wish our countrymen a deeply meaningful and solemn observance of the Holy Week,” dagdag pa ng Punong Ehekutibo.
