Imbestigasyon, tuloy-doj| PAG-ABSUWELTO SA DRUG LORDS, BINAWI.

IBINASURA ni Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II ang naunang desisyon ng National Prosecution Service (NPS) na nagdi-dismiss sa kasong drug trafficking laban kina Kerwin Espinosa, Peter Lim at iba pang akusado.

Sa press briefing sa Malacañang, sinabi ni Aguirre na nagpalabas na siya ng kautusan na wide open na ngayon ang imbestigasyon sa panig ng akusado at ng Philipine National Police (PNP).

“I issued an order vacating the dismissal of the case and ordered that the cases be wide open for both parties, complainants and respondents, to file whatever evidence they have in support of respective position,” ani Aguirre.

Sinabi ni Aguirre na bumuo siya ng bagong panel na magre-review ng kaso laban kina Espinosa, Lim at iba pang akusado. Aniya, nangangahulugan na maaari nang magpasa ng mga karagdagang ebidensiya ang magkabilang partido.

Maituturing na umanong wala nang saysay ang inihaing motion for reconsideration ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) ng PNP.

“The prosecution still has the chance to strengthen its evidence by securing a copy of the transcripts of the Senate hearing,” sabi pa ni Aguirre.

Matatandaang, nadismaya si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pag-dismiss ng naturang kaso sa NSP ng DOJ.
