Sa inilabas na statement ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, lumilitaw na may sabwatan umano ang mga U.N. special rapporteur para palabasin siyang marahas at lumalabag ng karapatang-pantao dahil sa umano’y extrajudicial killings sa kanyang anti-drug war.

Ayon kay Duterte, ang mga kilos at pahayag nina U.N. Special Rapporteur Agnes Callamard at U.N. High Commissioner on Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein ay nagpapakita ng international bias at pagtangging pagsuporta sa lehitimong hakbang ng Pilipinas para makawala sa kontrol at impluwensiya ng mga banyaga.

Advertisement Binigyang-diin pa ng pangulo na ang isinagawang preliminary examination ay malisyoso at nagpapatunay na nagagamit ang ICC bilang political tool laban sa Pilipinas.

Inihayag pa ni Duterte na ang mga iniaakusa sa kanya ay hindi maituturing na genocide o war crimes, hindi rin crime of aggression o crime against humanity.

Agad umanong epektibo ang pagkalas ng bansa sa Rome Statute at pag-alis sa hurisdiksyon ng ICC.
