NEWS IN:WIG PROTEST’ PARA SA AGUIRRE RESIGN,DAHIL SA mga Drug lords na naabsuwelto, Napoles naging witness.

NAGSAGAWA ng isang ‘wig protest’ ang mga miyembro ng Akbayan Partylist para hilingin ang pagbibitiw sa tungkulin ni Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II, kahapon nang umaga sa harapan ng tanggapan ng Department of Justice (DOJ) sa Padre Faura, Ermita, Manila.

Alas-10:00 ng umaga nang isagawa ang kilos-protesta sa tapat ng gusali ng DOJ kung saan naging highlights ang pagsusuot ng makukulay na wig ng may 60 ralista sa umano’y pekeng hustisya.

Iginiit ng grupo ang pagbibitiw sa puwesto ni Aguirre matapos mabasura ang drug case laban sa self-confessed drug lord na sina Kerwin Espinosa, Peter Lim at iba pa at pagkakalagay sa ilalim ng Witness Protection Program (WPP) ni Janet Lim Napoles.

Advertisement Kinondena rin ng grupo si Aguirre dahil sa mga umano’y pekeng charges nito laban sa mga miyembro ng oposisyon. 

“Secretary Aguirre is a coddler of dictators, drug lords and scammers. In a week, he freed confessed drug lords Espinosa and Lim and then gave witness protection to bigtime pork barrel scammer Janet Lim Napoles… Aguirre is on a roll with giving injustices a free pass. While criminals are free to go under his nose, the DOJ has been slapping fake cases against the opposition for exposing their incompetence,” ayon kay Shamah Bulangis, convenor ng youth group na Youth Resist. 

Una na rin  nanawagan ang ilang mambabatas na magbitiw na si Aguirre subalit, nanindigan itong huwag magbitiw sa puwesto, maliban na lamang kung mismong ang Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ang magpapababa sa kanya sa tungkulin.
